The revolutionary sealing system

A very significant parameter for comparison of profile systems is their way of sealing. Generally, these are divided into systems with rebate seal and systems with central seal. System with rebate seal is developmentally older and works on the principle of sealing contact between the frame and leaf on the outside and inside. This creates only one cavity between the seals and this systém is less resistant to pressure of water and the possibility of condensation in this hollow, which brings another possible negative effects – lesser working life of metallic components (hardware).

By creating two hollows in the contact frame and leaf is the seal not only perfectly protected from the weather, but there is also created decompression chamber, that equalized the pressure and condensate or potential water frame flows out from windows construction.

For central systems we can even distinguish seals in the frame and seals in the leaf. In the first case may to happen, that with an open window stays this seals in the frame and at inconsiderate handling can slither and with it damage its function. Seals in leaf has the advantage, that there seals coming to press from two sides by fixed washer(it is plastic frame and leaf) and thereby ensures maximum tightness.

Another aspect is, that when you open the window remains clean frame and when you lean out of window you will be still clean. Also, the slither is eliminated. The shape of the seal is very important and it depends on him long term error- free function of window without additional maintenance costs. Specifically, it depends on whether it is a hose or V-seal. In the first case creates pressure in two places and specific function there plays also an air cushion.
